The runner-up for best-tasting g-free pizza......Kinnikinnick!

About a week ago I shared my favorite g-free pizza crust. It's still my favorite, but this one is a close second...

This week I went to my local Health food store and they had quite an array of gluten-free products (a whole aisle...yayaa!). I saw this pizza crust in the frozen foods section and thought I'd give 'just one more' a try.

I wasn't disappointed. The flavor is great. The only thing to consider: It takes a while to really cook the crust so that it's not too soft and mushy. So I suggest baking the crush for about 8 mins then add toppings and cook longer than the label says, until crust is fully-baked. This crust takes a lot longer to fully cook than ones you are used to, I think.

Surprisingly, this pizza is not only gluten-free, it's dairy and nut free! I couldn't believe how tasty it turned out.

Happy eating!

Gluten-free Bread- My Favorite from Frozen

Forget Ener-G gluten free breads you see on the aisle at your local market. They just aren't going to satisfy your need for good-tasting bread.

If you're like me, and you crave creamy, juiced-up Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, then this is your new favorite bread!

At Whole Foods market you can find Food For Life's Fruit-Juiced sweetened Brown Rice bread in the frozen, GFree frozen section of the store. I have tried the almond one from this brand (not as good), tried Glutino's frozen bread in Corn (not so good for me), and none can compare to this if you want a delicious PB&J. This bread has a slight, juice-flavored aftertaste that I just love!

Happy G-free eating!

Best gluten-free frozen pizza

After trying numerous frozen pizza doughs, I finally found what I think is the best tasting. The texture is not doughy like some others, but the taste is pretty good.
I've tried frozen and boxed (even Bob's Red Mill powder mix was lacking in taste), and none tastes as good to me. This texture isn't doughy, so don't expect it to be. Purely based on taste, this is my favorite thus far.

One day I'd like to find a tasty AND pizza-like texture out there. For now, this one will have to do! :)

Popular, available frozen pizza (can be found at Target) Amy's does a 'decent' job with their rice crust pizza, just don't get the one with vegan cheese!
Amy's regular cheese GF pizza is still not much like regular pizza but the taste of the cheese and sauce is good and the crust is alright if you're not focusing on the texture.

There she is: Glutino's frozen pizza crust. Add the sauce, toppings and cheese, and...yummy!

Betty Crocker GFree choc chip cookies

In a word, awful.

Perhaps me using vegan ingredients (soy milk, and egg substitute) made the texture flat and lifeless.

Perhaps it's just the awful taste of the mix.

I think the latter is true. Don't buy this mix, unless you want to laugh at how bad it is! :/
